• MTN Nigeria Communications Plc released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026. • Key financial highlights include a 41.8% increase in service revenue to N1.5 trillion, a 68.1% rise in EBITDA to N828.3 billion, and a 165.9% increase in Profit After Tax (PAT) to N355.5 billion. • Total subscribers grew by 6.5% to 89.5 million, and active data users increased by 9.5% to 55.0 million. • The company is progressing with the structural separation of its fintech businesses, with MTN Group Fintech acquiring a 60% interest and injecting N152.1 billion.
